The role
Are you an experienced Early Childhood Teacher looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Children’s Services Team as an Early Childhood Teacher.
Reporting to the Director of the Children’s Centre, you will be crucial in upholding high standards of early childhood education and care across all of Council's Children's Centres.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and deliver a creative and reflective early childhood education program that aligns with the principles, practices, and outcomes of the National Early Years Learning Framework.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through leadership, shared learning, a positive attitude, and effective communication.
- Build and sustain meaningful, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, community members, management, and other professionals, working together to create a curriculum tailored to each child's strengths, needs, and
interests. - Observe and document children's learning and development using diverse methods.

You will have
- A degree in Early Childhood Education.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of significant harm.
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate, including training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Experience in delivering high-quality learning experiences and environments for young children.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of child development and learning theories.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $93,583 pro-rata (Grade G, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
