The role

CBCity is offering a great opportunity for a safety-focused waste professional to join our Waste and Cleansing team as a Side Loader Operator.

 

You will operate a Side Loader heavy vehicle to deliver safe, efficient, and dependable waste services, adhering to contract standards and team guidance.

 

 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Operate waste and street cleaning equipment, including Side Loader vehicles.
  • Collect domestic, commercial, and public bins; remove dumped rubbish.
  • Perform daily plant maintenance and report issues promptly.
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of daily activities.
  • Complete daily pre- and post-operation vehicle checklists.
  • Comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law, Chain of Responsibility, and transport regulations.

You will have

  • A current HR class driver’s licence.
  • Proven experience operating side loader vehicles.
  • Familiarity with waste and street cleansing operations and related equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to WHS procedures.

 

 

The salary for this opportunity is $3,326 per fortnight (Grade E, Step 4) + AWCA2 + 12% super.
