Executive Manager – City Design and Delivery

We are seeking a results-driven leader to join our Senior Management Team in a newly created executive role, reporting directly to the Director City Assets.

As the lead for our Capital Works Program, you will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of transformative infrastructure projects that define the future of Canterbury-Bankstown. This is your opportunity to drive a bold agenda of innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence across a diverse and high-impact portfolio.

You will have

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Proven success leading and inspiring high-performing teams and leading multidisciplinary large and small scale projects.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, financial oversight, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Track record of driving change, improving efficiency, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

 

A postgraduate qualification in Management and a working knowledge of local government operations under the Local Government Act are desirable but not essential.

 

Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
